Yesterday I opened up (probably for the first time since abt
1945 ) my bubble sextant which I bought many years ago. and much to my
surprise, it seems to work at least for sunsights.
I found the manual for it and the thread about it on this
list, but would like to do whatever maintenance/servicing is needed after 50 +
years.
I guess the most vulnerable critical component is the bubble diaphram - can
SKS tell me how I get to it, what precautions are necessary and where I can get
a spare/replacement?
Can anyone help me please?
TIA
