Seems a shame that such devices go "lost", that is to say become unavailable. I wonder as to whether or not it would be feasable for some instrument maker, not likely in the U.S.,to produce a run of these devices, that would sell for a reasonable price. I would assume, perhaps incorrectly, that patents and or copywrites would not pose a problem, but then I've been wrong before. Just a thought.
