The 2,3,3 grouping is by angle. Reflections 1,3,4 of 8 are bright.
My camera Bris actually has three glass reflectors. The camera filter itself counts as a reflective glass plus the two microscope slides that are added.

Greg,

Now I understand that your Bris (which apparently has 2 glasses)
must be different from the standard (original) one which has 3 glasses,
including the shade. Reflection from the back surface of the shade
must be also
counted, of course. Still I don't understand how 3 bright and 5 dim
images were formed (years ago) in my Bris. According to my count
it should be 3+8.
What do you mean by "groups 2,3,3"? You group by brightness,
or by angluar separation?
I tried to wipe the inner surfaces with a piece of cloth, using a needle.
but even the fine needle does not penetrate the part of the gap
near the acute angle.
Alex.
