Gerard, I would be very willing to send you some cash to cover these expenses in exchange for a CD with these things on it. How much would you need to entice you? Thanks, Bill -----Original Message----- From: Navigation Mailing List [mailto:NAVIGATION-L@LISTSERV.WEBKAHUNA.COM] On Behalf Of Gerard Mittelstaedt Sent: Thursday, January 30, 2003 8:40 PM To: NAVIGATION-L@LISTSERV.WEBKAHUNA.COM Subject: Bowditch and other NIMA docs Hi, I have a fast connection at work, and in odd moments downloaded the complete "current" version of Bowditch (pub #9) and "Chart1", pub # 229, pub #249, the pilot charts (wind and currents for all seasons) for the Indian Ocean, and for the South Pacific, which are all that are currently available on the NIMA web site. Also Pub 102 (signals), Pub 117 (Radio Nav Signals), Pub 1310 (Radar Nav and Maneuvering Board Manual) --- These are in separate folders - in PDF files, burned on a single CD. --- I will make copies (burn a CD) for anyone on the list who wants a copy. The only problem is I'd rather not be impoverished by the postage, and cost of those little cardboard mailers, etc. Blank CDs seem not to be very expensive. I do NOT intend to sell the copies... I got the information free, and have just re-packaged it in a more convenient way. Send me an e-mail with mailing address if you are interested. I'll tell you when I get tired making copies... then someone else can take up the favor and pass it on. Oh yes, I can fit the Cruise of the Cachelot and the Riddle of the Sands (2 interesting books ) on the same CD. - also were freely downloadable. --------------- Gerard Mittelstaedt mitt@hiline.net McAllen, Texas USA
