And I agree about Meeus. A real goldmine of a book. Perhaps John Kabel does Meeus a small injustice when he suggests that his book is for "estimating astronomical phenomena", though. I have used the many detailed terms of his trig expansions to calculate Sun, Moon, planet, star positions to a fraction of a minute of arc, on a programmable pocket calculator.
