I've just built a working model of Bob's very interesting slide rule using the quick and easy cheat of sticking re-sized copies of the scales to the empty reverse side of my old Thornton 10' rule. (only took a couple of hours to build).
I have test driven it and compared with Bygrave Replica, Fuller 3 and Brown-Nassau.
For the minority of similarly afflicted minds, see attached for details.
Congrats to Bob for a very good slide rule.
