    Bit more on Haversine Formula
    From: Dennis Georgakis
    Date: 2015 Aug 5, 18:55 -0700

While searching for direct methods of finding position from two altitudes, I came apon a NACA Report No. 198 that had a variant of the all haversine formula.

No derivation, nor does the author give a specific reference, but the report includes some informative nomograms and diagrams used to find both the zenith distance and the azimuth.

    Great stuff.
