Dear List, I have been asked to supply evidence as I had '...alluded to unspecified "erorrs"' in Bauer book, which I had '...yet to name...'. Attached you will find a pdf file with the comments I have on the book. I hope we can discuss this in a civilised way and that some of you will contribute to it so we can broaden our knowledge of early navigational instruments. I will add any contributions to the next version(s) of that pdf-file (and include the name of those who contributed) and attach it in (a) later post(s).
