Peter
Fogg,
your
ability to miss the point is admirable: I was not talking about the
content of your insulting posts but the fact that - by sending them to the
list - you are involving everybody else. Apart from that,
the fact that you are "observing" other list members does not make me feel
very comfortable. And you seem to be a clairvoyant regarding the scope of
"social encounters" between people that you have not even
met.
Wolfgang

Betreff: [NavList 3378] Re: AW: [NavList 3361] Azimuth determination (ad nauseum)Good on you, Wolfgang, and anyone else who wants to support the insupportable. Your loyalty is admirable, even if the logic is questionable (fanning the only-just glowing embers of a conflagation). On the plea for censorship, however mildly (or in George's case, ludicrously) worded, I note that you don't object on the grounds that the message; that the argument is untrue - just that you don't like to hear it. Which is fair enough; you can always take your own advice and " delete such messages".I'm not sure why my assessment of George is necessarily inferior to yours since it is based on years of observing him here, rather than based on somewhat brief social encounters.
