    Hello Sean,

About total suns correction I have a book that has a smal table with the correction.
The correction depends on the Hs. The book advises use minimum Hs of 20°.
Correction based on standard Yacht height of eye = 2 mtr.

    From 20° correction +11'
    From 25° correction +12'
    From 40° correction +13'

Perhaps this states your info about the used correction.

    regards
    Herman Dekker
