Dan H, you wrote: "Besides the obvious reasons for NOT sending attachments via List" I'm sorry, but the reasons are not "obvious" by any means. And you wrote: "we are GUESTS (it is free to Navigation-l) on the webkahuna.com server. Attachments add to the load on the server" This is a trivial cost. I have "owned" mailing lists twice in the past twelve years. In the early 90s, bandwidth was expensive, and "text only" was the law on listservs. Listservs were also expensive. By 1999 or so, this had changed completely. Even the smallest web site burns much more bandwidth than a very busy mailing list. A list as small as Navigation-L can be operated for free on hundreds of services and bandwidth limits for them, if they exist at all, have nothing to do with attachments (per se). And you concluded: "as a courtesy NO ATTACHMENTS please." Hmm. OK. So why didn't you complain about attachments last year? Or did I just miss that?? -FER 42.0N 87.7W, or 41.4N 72.1W. www.HistoricalAtlas.com/lunars
