It is kinda hard to see the details in the pics, but that sure looks like an astrologer's tool, not an astronomical/navigational instrument. A big hint is that it is labeled "Astronomisch-astrologisches Universal Präzisions-Rechengerät". It might actually be more useful than what we usually talk about on this list. After all, who needs to know the position of stars in the sky if one can foretell the future! ;-) -p
