Another worthy book is Air Navigation by Weems. There are 4 different editions, the first one is from 1931, the second from 1938 Of course if you are interested in WWII vintage texts there are plenty: American Air Navigator by Charles Mattingly 1944 Aircraft Navigation Manual HO216 US Navy Hydrographic Office 1941 Air Navigation by Weems Third edition 1943 Celestial Air Navigation War Dept Technical Manual TM 1-206 1941 Astronomical Navigation A Handbook for Aviators WM Smart 1942
