I lurk here a lot and read and learn. Don't post a whole lot. Thought the members might like this article written by Russell Porter of Springfield Vermont. Founder of the Springfield Telescope makers of which I'm a member. He was also an artist, arctic explorer and engineer on the team that built the Palomar 200 inch telescope amongst other achievements.
