    Arc shapes

A follow up question to help me visualize relationships.

I could plot Hc against azimuth for several dates, but I am hoping the more
learned among you have a quick visual answer.

Assume a fixed position of N40, W 90. If I were to plot Hc for Sun each
minute it would form an arc.

Now assume I do this on winter solstice, an equinox, and summer solstice.

I understand the Hc will shift by approx. 23d 26.4' along the y axis between
dates, and the the summer solstice arc will extent furthest out on the x
    axis.

My question is, if I slid all three plots together, would the curves be
similar (again noting there will be areas missing in the equinox and winter
    solstice plots)?

    Thanks

    Bill
