This time I decided to apologize before someone says that I am "picking a fight" with everybody:-) One of my previous messages on this subject could be interpreted that collecting a sextant (or anything else) with a swastica automatically implies automatically some sympaties to the Nazis. This is wrong. After some thinking, I understood, that some people can feel the same about "red star" or other Soviet symbols. It is true, I would never buy a thing with a swastica as a decoration for my home, but nevertheless, I would be curious to see such a thing in a museum, or in a private historical collection, and I have NO objection of putting it there. In other words, I withdraw my objections to people who buy "genuine Kriegmarine memorabilia". I think this is can be a legitimate business/hobby. I understand this is again out of the scope of this list, but I had to correct some of my previous messages on the subject. Alex.
