How many of use played with mercury as children. Imagine the genius we would have been, given the considerable neurotoxic effect of methyl mercury. (Elemental mercury is not readily absorbed). In our town a mercury thermometer was dropped and broken. They evacuated the school and called in a HazMat team.

I hope no one in Texas misplaced the Mercury for their artificial horizon.
