    Strasbourg). So is the original Hipparcos catalog and the FK6. They may 
    be accessed via the VizieR tool:
    A query form lets you select the fields you want, the sort field, and 
    constraints. For example, enter <2 in the Magnitude constraint box, and 
    click the right ascension sort button. Then the output table will 
    contain only stars less than (brighter than) magnitude 2, sorted by RA.
    CDS automatically adds the J2000.0 ICRS RA and dec. to the table. These 
    values are corrected for proper motion. (The Hipparcos catalog values 
    are ICRS at epoch J1991.25. This is also true for the new reduction.)
    These are all catalog positions, however. I know of no Web source for 
    precise (beyond the needs of celestial navigation) geocentric or 
    topocentric apparent coordinates of date.
