And the catalog is online at CDS (Centre de Données astronomiques de
Strasbourg). So is the original Hipparcos catalog and the FK6. They may
be accessed via the VizieR tool:

    http://vizier.u-strasbg.fr/

A query form lets you select the fields you want, the sort field, and
constraints. For example, enter <2 in the Magnitude constraint box, and
click the right ascension sort button. Then the output table will
contain only stars less than (brighter than) magnitude 2, sorted by RA.

CDS automatically adds the J2000.0 ICRS RA and dec. to the table. These
values are corrected for proper motion. (The Hipparcos catalog values
are ICRS at epoch J1991.25. This is also true for the new reduction.)

These are all catalog positions, however. I know of no Web source for
precise (beyond the needs of celestial navigation) geocentric or
    topocentric apparent coordinates of date.
