Here's a fine view from southeastern Connecticut looking southeast at sunset two days ago. Humidity was very high, and the air was hazy. These anti-crepuscular rays are shadows extending all the way across the sky converging on the azimuth opposite the setting sun. The photo was taken by Lynn Andersen, whom some of you have met (she was married to Don Treworgy who passed away in 2009, and she still keeps an eye on the sky).
