    Ant Vs Ho 218 Books
    From: John Pazereskis

Hello,  I have a few Astronomical Navigation Tables volumes, and, as others have mentioned, they are physically nice things to have, hold, and use.  They also have just visible internal spine/book reinforcements.  Wanting a few more volumes, I just received a copy of the HO 218 vol M.  It is not nearly as nice as the ANT volumes.   It has a slightly broken spine, and no reinforecements. Intead of being nicely indexed as the ANTs are, it has a set of stick on lables in the front that the user is supposed to tear out, lick, and glue in place.  Knowing my elder hands (or even remembering my young agile hands) I think it would look like a mess if I tried to do it.  Are all the HO 218s like this one I bought or is it an anomoly?  Or am I the onlly person who finds this a bit odious.

    Best, John
