Brad, the programs like those from Paul, Andrés or CalSky very likely contain epoch data which are expected to be much more accurate than what you need and they also perform the necessary transformations in time and space to obtain the values you require.
To Andrés:
I understand that your calculated star-star-distance is more accurate than to 0.1 moa as shown in the output. Would you consider it reasonable to show this result for calibration purposes with more decimals, may be 2 or 3 ?
