Hi
I am currently looking at two apps on the Android market. I want to use
them when I practice taking sextant sights from a known position on the sea
shore and want quick results to confirm my level of accuracy.
One is called Navimatics Celestial, is more expensive, the user interface
is white on black only and it may not install on the SD card, thus taking a big
chunk off the phone’s internal memory.
The other one, called StarStruck Navigation is in colour, is cheaper and
has the fun feature of taking (crude) sights aiming the phone at celestial
bodies.
Any experience with any f the above? Comments would be
appreciated.
