Sure the mountains surround, but with the height of eye around 6 feet, we are not in dip short. I believe in selected areas, it will omni-directional.

I read that to be an elevation change of (at most) 16 feet over 10 miles, which works out to just over 1 arc minute. This spot would work nicely.--
Perhaps in selected directions. However, much of the horizon is dotted with distant mountains.Don Seltzer
