I noticed that in volume 2 that there are two table 34s. The second table 34 looks like the exact Haversine table 34 as seen in the 1966 Bowditch. Another interesting add is chapter 24 in volume 1 on LORAN. This must mean that LORAN will be back in action soon :)
What is the purpose of Bowditch 2017 (or Bowditch from the start of the GPS era for that matter)? If it is a navigation encyclopedia then Loran and Gee and Consol and Lunars and Q codes and station pointers etc etc should be included. If not, then in this electronic age when navigation is no longer a profession it could probably be much slimmer.
Is the Admiralty Manual of Navigation still in print?
