The Air Force Navigators Observers Association (www.afnoa.org) will sponsor an ALL NAVS - ALL TYPES Reunion at Savannah, GA April 8-10 in downtown Savannah, GA. Go to the website for details.

AFNOA is the only All Navigators' organization known and it has just compiled and published a "AF Navigators Comprehensive History," AFNCH, in all digital-pdf form.

The AFNCH is a 25Gigabit file of over 11,000 pages of Navigator-Time-Line, nav-information, nav-manuals, nav-course training class work books, documents, photos, technical details, and copied of the 'Navigator' ATC created yearly magazine 1953 through termination in 1985. The AFNOA AFNCH is copyright AFNOA. It is on a 32GB USB thumb drive and will be sent to interested institutions upon request.

The AFNCH was created by AFNOA members using dues collected to fund this unique flight history project. It is a technically correct history as it was created by Navigators & Bombardiers who were all trained by the U.S. military and flew the missions.

AFNOA launched and finished the efforts at this time as in its membership are WWII Navigators & Bombardiers from the very first classes taught by the Army Air Corps in 1940, to present (2013) active duty.

Side Note: The AF no longer trains navs, but does train Combat Systems Officers "CSOs" (for the back seats of the likes of the F-15 Strike Eagles and Navy for the many versions of the F-18). The undergraduate training (for all services) takes place at NAS Pensacola, FL.

There are "legacy" navs in both the AF/ANG & Navy/Marine Corps and Coast Guard. There are a few (very few) more navs in scattered Federal Agencies.
