Thank you for sharing this nice find!
My all-haversine tool-box groving bigger and bigger.
There is one little thing I do not like about these formulas: the same-name vs contrary-name gimmickry.
I'd rather prefer one set of rules (North and East are positive, South and West are negative) and one canonical form for each formula. Like Lat = ZD + Dec which is always correct if we follow the sign rule.
I tried the sign rule with the "same-name" formulation of hav(t) - it seems to work OK. Now I'm checking if it works with the longhand all-haversine SR as well.
Please comment.
