    Algorithm for star ephemerides
    From: Henning Umland
    Date: 2001 Apr 20, 07:11 EDT

I would suggest calculating SHA and Dec of any chosen star for a number of
    years, e. g., 2000.0, 2010.0, 2020.0, 2030.0, and 2040.0 with ICE and
finding the initial position and annual drift by linear regression.
Of course, this simple method ignores the effects of nutation. It should be
accurate enough, however, for navigational purposes.
