Naphta is a very general name, they are likely referring to the colorless type, other types have a marked yellowish color that is not going to help in bubble visibility. It's density, approximately, is equal to the one of Hexane (.6548) so you are likely to get a more lively bubble as Hexane viscosity is lower than Xylene(.864). The only thing to remember about Xylene is that its flashing point is about 30C about 80-85F, however this is not an issue in the bubble chamber.
The other positive thing about Xylene is that is not water soluble, thus doesn't mix with water and any water present in the can doesn't get into the bubble, while Naptha and Hexane are not impervious to water.
