    Re: Air Almanac users?

Thank you Frank.  I didn’t realise the Air Almanac was still printed.  It’ll be like meeting an old friend. I’ve just paid £20 for a Nautical Almanac, and I don’t find it anything like as easy to use.  I used to find the circular star diagrams in the AA very useful to select stars for a good cut, and the ten minute daily page made life very easy. As the UK air sextants only read to one minute of arc (with luck), there wasn’t much point in having tables to 0.1’.  I’ll probably start using it again from now on.  Dave
