The Nav-plotter from Black Buck Two dropped by this afternoon for a quick 30-minute visit, which quickly turned into 2 ½ hours. I'd thought he wanted information for the purpose suggested by DavidC, but I was wrong. He did want to take some photographs of a Smiths Mk2B sextant being used, but it was for a book he is writing a section for about a typical Vulcan training flight from the UK out over the Atlantic and back, so the 1982 pages are no longer required. He also showed me his DIY Plotting Mercator, which I'd previously reminded him how to make. I'm afraid we didn't make much of a job making the inside of the astrovan look like the inside of a Vulcan.
