The 211 tables are no longer published as a separate book, but are included as an appendix in several larger works, including Bowditch. Bowditch has a basic explaination of how to use the tables. Of the books now in print, George Mixter's _Primier of Navigation_ has a whole chapter on the tables and a good student workform (one reduction per page with helpful guides) that you can copy. Old editions of Mixter from the 1930's or 1970's are common in used bookshops near the sea and are equally good for this. There are also compact derivatives of 211 tables available, by Bayless and by Pepperday (the S-Tables). -- Peter <peter_smith@XXX.XXX> =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-= =-= TO UNSUBSCRIBE, send this message to majordomo@XXX.XXX: =-= =-= unsubscribe navigation =-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=
