Detailed description on Bill Morris web page indicates that this is a good small sextant. But I have never seen this model on e-bay. Where are you going to get it from? I have a small 19th century pocket Troughton and Sims, it seems to be smaller than this one, and with vernier scale instead of the drum, and it gives excellent results. And it really fits in a pocket. BTW I bought it on e-bay several years ago for a very moderate price. Alex.
