Re: Admin: text-only messages, annual indexes, author-specific indexes, and more

It is with great sadnest that I should tell everyone on the list that
George Huxtable will be unable to respond to all his friends on the nav
list anymore.George died on early in December from a protracted illness.
He had had a re-accurrance of Cancer earlier in the year that eventually
was untreatable and he died at home at Southmoor, Abingdon near Oxford.
He was buried there just before Christmas .His wife Joan will still be
living at their house but as yet will not be replying to emails.
I am and have been a reader of Navlist for many years and any messages
for her I will gladly pass on. I can be contacted at
George was born just before the start of the 1939-45 war in Liverpool
and we both shared experience of the Blitz years there. many years
later he became a Physicist and worked at Harwell Atomic Research Labs
were I met him through a shared interest in sailing. He had developed a
passionate interest in navigation and was to became a Fellow of the
    Royal Institute of Navigation.
His particular interest was in CN, in the practise of Lunars and a
great deal of his activity on the list was in this field. Many of you
will have shared this interest and will greatly miss his expert
corespondance. I am very pleased to be reminded by Frank that his words
will live on through the benefit of the list archives.
    Yours with regret
