It's interesting to see that it is very hard to find a watch that will cater to all needs, even just for sailing. After much research for a sailing racing watch on a budget, I bought a Citizen Navisail for $100 (retail $295). It has features that are great as I am traveling around the world for business, and as I am racing on week-ends, but the user manual says the time accuracy is +/- 30 seconds per month. Ouch. Do we need one watch for every use?! As in sailing watch + racing watch + dress watch + whatever (compass?) watch? YA
