It seems to me that in small boat navigation that there is no such thing as "precision" navigation. If you are worried about sticking your self with a pair of dividers, you lost your precision when trying to take the round of sights. Which puts us back to how well we have kept our dead reckoning plot. Been there, done that. "Cheers, -Dan-"
