I have one of those and it seems to work fine.  In July I used it for some sights on the beach in Santa Barbara and the results were good.  I did notice a few seconds of difference between my clock and the clocks sometimes shown on TV news but I never investigated that in detail.

Do any of you use these automatic update clocks with a radio receiver. I just got one and am playing with it. I assume the basic uncorrected time piece is not that great. But it is "obsessive" and updates often.
