I obtained a near mint AN5854- one bubble octant made by Bausch and Lomb, and would like to obtain a user manual for it that also contains diagrams for repair and servicing. The unit I have does not produce a bubble and I think that the bubble chamber has dried out or was never filled as this unit was most likely never used and stored. If so how does one refill the bubble chamber?
Please send me some info as to how to use and service this really nice octant.
