    ADMIN: confusion in reading messages

    Joel Jacobs, you wrote:
"If I felt it necessary to expand further on what Lu said in his response to me, I would have done it myself. I do not want you or anyone else sending mail 'On behalf Of Las Office.'"
    And you continued:
"I do not know Irv Haworth, and I can't imagine what would possess anyone to do something which is like forging a signature to a check.. As far as I know, that's a first for this list."

You're confused, Joel. And in earlier message to George, you confused my message, his reply, and then Lu's reply. But I'm actually used to this, Joel. I've seen it for years. You're one of those people who knows a lot about sextants and celestial navigation, but email is a great and wild "land of mystery" to you. You are easily confused by the emails you read. Irv Haworth was quoting your message (that's where the "On behalf of Las Office" came from). Now, let me be very clear on this, you owe Irv Haworth an apology. You also owe George Huxtable an apology. In the future, when you are reading messages, please remember that you are, in fact, easily confused by what you read, so before you accuse someone of "forging a signature", sit back and consider the possibility that the problem is on your end.
