Sorry, no. Don't follow or bookmark any links at "freelists.org". They were simply a service I was using for the email side of the distribution of messages, and that connection (and those links) will be disappearing shortly.
Incidentally, linked files WILL BE clickable links again soon. As I noted previously, I am well aware that many people are now learning how to use the internet "organically" and it's simply an uphill battle. Who knows... in two more years, it may be the majority of users who will be unable to use the address bar to get around. It's even conceivable that browsers will begin to hide the address bar and treat it as an "expert" feature. But for the time-being, especially for a technically-oriented group like NavList, it's not asking too much to copy and paste, is it??
By the way, for Windows users, many people don't know the quick way to copy and paste. It's as follows: click in the text or paragraph just before the portion that you want to copy. Now click and drag (hold the mouse button down while moving the mouse) until you reach the end of the portion you want to copy. That text is now highlighted. At this point, you copy the text to your operating system's "clipboard" by pressing ctrl-C on the keyboard. Now go up to the address bar. Click once in the address bar so that the current address is highlighted. Now press ctrl-V to paste. Hit enter on the keyboard to go to that address. Sorry for the lesson in basics.
Or here's a thought... Maybe we should find a special add-on for your browsers that makes all possible clickable links actually clickable. Sure, it could even attempt to find phone numbers on pages and make them callable! Oh wait...
