Hi Brad, Hey, the new version is a tremendous improvement! Huge progress, really. Having some real fun now. Still needs a few tweaks: 1)The VE of the Ecliptic is offset 78 degrees clockwise versus the VE on the Star Base. Try this: Set the Blue Template to 29 North (to deform the blue template), Star Rotation to zero, LHA Aries to 78, Day of Year to 79. Now note that the Zenith "+" mark is just to the right of Alpheratz. At this position, LHA Aries should be reading zero (not 78) and the Sun should be at the 12:00 position (top) on the graphic, not at about 2:30 where it now appears. In other words, the Sun should be on the center blue line at the top of the template (the 180 degree line) and the intersection of the celestial equator and the ecliptic should also be at 12:00 in this case. 2)When you rotate the stars beneath the Blue Template, the LHA should change accordingly. 3) The Star Base is still mirror image in the S Hemi. Try this: Set Star Rotation to zero, flip to S Hemi. Notice that Alpheratz is near the top, with Schedar to it's upper left. Schedar should be to the upper right. 4)Still need to correct the spelling of Alphard (from "Alpharad") 5)Yes, if you can add an extension & arrow to the line at 180 deg on the blue template it would be great. Is it also possible to add altitude/azimuth numbers on the blue template? 6)Same for adding LHA numerals around the Star Base. Would make it more like a real 2102 7)Agree that if you make a Red Template (which I hope you do), it should have radio buttons for ON OFF. Might want to add this for the Blue Temp as well (so you can see just the Red Temp when you want to). 8)You are correct that the LHA increases clockwise in the S Hemi and increases counterclockwise in the N Hemi. Anyway, super progress! Any additional input from Navlist out there?
