    Re: 2102-E Starfinder, Take Four
    From: Brad Morris
    Date: 2009 Feb 25, 13:28 -0800

I have updated the 2102E spreadsheet, accounting for many if not all of the requests.

    1) The Ecliptic rotates with the star field. When the Ecliptic rotates, it
carries the solar disk with it
    2) The LHA of Aries has been aligned so that at day 79 (Vernal Equinox) and
LHA 0, the 180 degree line bisects the solar disk. The star rotation setting
has to be at zero for this to occur.
    3) Multiple rotations of LHA Aries has been stopped, it goes from 0 to 360, one time!
    4) I flipped over the star field, it should look like the 2102D base now.
    5) When selecting the North or South Base, the Blue Template designation
changes to match the base. That is, if you were on the north base at 44degN,
then when you flip to the southern base, the blue template designation is
    44degS.

I can add a red template like the 2102D if desired. That's an easy day. It
should probably turn on and off as desired.

How about the arrow on the blue templates and the LHA Aries markings?

Doesn't the LHA of Aries change direction in the southern base?

I want to thank John Tiffany for his input. Thanks John!

    Best Regards
    Brad
