    Hi Nick

    Thanks for the attaboy!

I am kind of stymied right now with planet plotting. It looks like I will be
forced into coding some visual basic behind the scenes to make it work.
Unfortunately, Excel doesn't natively support the function I want. I want to
be able to use the red scale to adjust the planet and then leave the planet
in position and then move the red scale. I know of no function in Excel that
permits that, other than code. I am more than capable of writing the code,
however, this begins to limit the "open source" spreadsheet idea. Not
everybody gets code and that is why I have stayed away from it.

I have been asked for the LHA scale and (now) a Time scale. Either one (or
both is certainly possible). The only thing stopping me is time. I am hard
at work on the Worsley Log Book, so this is kind of taking a backseat.

What I did on my 2102 D physical starfinder was simply draw an arrow on each
side representing the direction of time. Probably the same thing you are
doing, but the arrow is very simple to implement, just a pencil and a bit of
    thought.

    Best Regards
    Brad

    Hi Brad,

    It looks absolutely great.

I have made a small modification of my "hard copy" StarFinder: I added
one more scale (time scale with hours printed on it) which has bigger
diameter than StarFinder itself. This extra time scale can be fixed to
the Starfinder base with the sticker providing constant time reference
as soon as LHA is calculated for any particular time point (in
Starfinder book it was recommended to draw a time scale with a pencil
on the base). I am wondering would it be possible to add this extra
time scale to your electronic version?

    Best regards,
    Nick
