"To my surprise, the inserted yellow card that typically has the Index to Selected Stars on the one side, and A2 Altitude Correction Tables 10°-90° - Sun and Stars, and Planets on the other, has replaced the latter with the Altitude Correction Tables 0°-35° - Moon?"
There's no reasonable excuse for that. Sounds to me like a blatant printing error. Fortunately, because of the way the volume is produced, it's probably the only place an error like that could happen. Equally fortunate, it's presumably not bad data --just a less convenient, less familiar presentation of data.
