    Exactly!  So close it didn't matter!  

    Even when it "warmed up" that afternoon, people who weren't wearing ski masks were getting frostbitten cheeks.  Even though Mother Nature was not providing much wind, skiers were creating their own.  It was not fun, even dangerous.

    That's approaching the "magic number" in terms of °C and °F. At -40, there's no need to do any conversion. -40°C = -40°F. Either way, that's %$&# cold! :D
