OK, I can do something about that. :-))
Comparisons with the newly published Nautical Almanac show that our almanac spreadsheets are good for 2012 without the need for any updates.

It happens now and then. Folks run out of things to say! Then it all starts up again... :)
This gap has only been about 48 hours without a new message. There was a longer gap from July 1 to July 4 this year. Message volume usually tails off during the northern hemisphere summer and then picks up again in the fall. It's not hard to generate message activity: post something interesting... or better yet controversial (but on-topic, of course). We've had a few prolific posters retire from NavList, at least temporarily, in the past year: George Huxtable, Peter Fogg, and a few others. It's likely that monthly message volume will be half of what it was last year. But even so, this is by far the most active online community related to
traditional navigation. Don't worry --it will pick up again.
