    Moon declination for 4 February 2011: ...///...

Peter, your own results also all confirm previous findings, which is an excellent piece of news : we all have the very same Lady Moon :-) , and Andrs certainly too (Hello Andrs !!!)

    ***************************************

Further to your last posting, Peter, I was just curious to check the IMMCCE results ( http://www.imcce.fr/fr/ephemerides/formulaire/form_ephepos.php ) which yield the following results :

    Satellite 10 Lune
    Theorie planetaire INPOP08
Coordonnees Apparentes (equateur vrai ; equinoxe de la date)
    Centre du repere : geocentre
    Coordonnees equatoriales (R.A, Dec.)

    #######################################################################################

    01:00:00 UTC , Moon Dec = -09 12' 43".7674 , and

    17:00:00 UTC , Moon Dec = -06 05' 14".5374

    The values ( S -912'43"9 / S -605'14"7) I quoted in NavList # 15564 (http://www.fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx?i=115564) actually were less than 0.2" away from the results hereabove.

These IMCCE / INPOP08 results also fully confirm the (quite rare indeed) error of the Air Almanac for 2011, Feb 04 th.

Dave ... you have a VERY SHARP EYE to detect extremely rare events !!!! WELL DONE !!

    Kermit
