To the list, Since Cliff opened the door on this one, I feel compelled to respond. He is correct that some of the photos and diagrams are of questionable quality, but if he thinks our Paradise Cay/Celestaire edition is bad, he should see the Government's edition. Most of its photos have severe moire patterns in addition to the pixillation problems. Its Beaufort photos are vastly inferior to ours. In producing our book, we went back to previous editions to get the best photos to scan. We carried forward 60 color diagrams and photos that the Government dropped the color from altogether, and printed only in black and white. If and when we do another printing, we will correct the remaining photos and diagrams to bring them up to a high standard. Needless to say, we welcome further comments from any list members.
