I have what I believe to be Ralph Bagnold 1st type sun compass as discribed in his early exploration with Newbold, Prendergast etc I recently bought it from an auction where it came from a large estate sale in Scotland, been trying to find further writings on the device but yet to get anything substantial 🥴
