By the way, from here on Conanicut Island, I have been observing an anomaly above Block Island during the past couple of hours. There appears to be a rapidly varying perturbation in the gravitational field there today. When you get up from the bar, you may notice deflections of the local vertical, rapid changes in the zenith. I recommend you hold onto something.
