    Antoine, you wrote:

It is true that I cannot fully check my numbers against Frank's ones since I cannot enter tenths of seconds of time on his On Line Computer, and I am also restricted to tenths of arc minutes. This constraint certainly may have a significant, but quite limited effect here, but ..."

Just so you know, you can enter with finer precision by setting values in the URL after you get to the results page. If you know a bit of HTML and have access to a simple site, you can also very easily write your own input page to access the same calculating page on my site. Let me know if you have any questions on either of these approaches.

Such differences would almost amount to being quite frightening !!! :-)))"

You may also want to investigate the software tools developed by the IOTA folks. They calculate occultations to a fraction of a second AND they include the lunar limb profiles.

Well, you're welcome. But could I ask you please NOT to reference posts by message number or at least not ONLY by a message number? This really defeats intelligibility. Couldn't you have just as easily said something like "thank you for your comments on the lunar limb and libration"? I really didn't know what you were referring to and had to go dig this up in the archive. Please consider the message numbers, not as a substitute for meaningful references, but as a backup in case you can find no other way to describe the point(s) you're referring to. Thanks! :-)
